Here's a very easy-to-do craft project to decorate your home for Christmas. It's very simple, original and not expensive. You will enjoy making those Christmas frames and decorate them with nice messages to wish a warm and merry Christmas to your family and friends. You can place the frames anywhere in your home, for example above your table or in a corridor.

Supplies

  • wooden photo frames (Ikea)
  • acrylic paint
  • 1 flat brush
  • scrapbooking paper (glitter and regular)
  • scrapbooking paper pad (Collection Cultura)
  • scrapbooking cardboard ornaments (Collection Cultura)
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • special glue for framing and binding works (Cléocol)

First, apply the acrylic paint on the frames and let them dry for around 2 hours. Then cut the scrapbooking paper to the size of your frames. I used matching colors for my frames and got inspired per the Cultura Collection ornaments (red, brown and gold).

To cut the scrapbooking paper you can use the cardboard sheet behind the frame as a template to get the correct size and use a pencil to point out the edges. Once the paper is cut you just have to glue the ornaments. I chose a small wrapped gift saying "Magic Christmas" because I found it so cute to decorate my red frame and I used a gold glitter paper to go with it.

I hope you enjoyed that project ! Don't hesitate to leave comments and send me your own pictures on Instagram and Twitter !
