H&M white fringed top - Revamped with neon fabric pens

This is a long lasting Neon Week I guess ! Here I am today with the last "neon fabric" DIY, to show you that you can easily revamp an old clothing by adding some colors. And because I loved the Pebeo fabric pens I found a cool project to make before the end of the Neon Week and the end of september. Yes, fall is already there and soon we will have to take our coats and put our boots on...

Then it's the occasion to take advantage of the last days of the week to post two projetcs that I wanted to share with you : I revamped a top that I bought at H&M in 2013 and I made a nice accessory for my bag (post to come).

Also, I'm making a video to show you all the projects I made for the Neon Week on this blog, so stay tuned ! ;-)

The top I revamped is from H&M and I bought it in 2013. It's a white fringed top. As I like everything Indian, ethnic and feathered, I wanted to make a matching top for my homemade neon feather earrings. And to be sure the colors would be the same I used the same pens to color the feathers and the top. At first I thought the white top was too simple, even banal because you couldn't really see the fringes, but after I colored it I loved the result. It's perfect for summer (so I will wait before I can wear it again !), and it's unusual, I like it !

To revamp this top, I colored the fringes with my neon pens, interposing the colors as follows : yellow-green-pink-orange. I isolated the fringes on a sheet of paper because the pens are full of ink and the colors can quickly pass through the fabric.

Do you like the new look of my top ? Leave comments in the section below or send me pictures of your own projects if you also revamped an old clothing ! I would love to read your comments ;-)

See you soon,

Clara
