Yes, I know summer isn't finished yet, but I'm knitting a snood for next winter ! :-) As I don't knit fast on this project, I take it as a way to do a break and relax when I
want to sit on the couch and watch TV for example.
If you want to knit a similar snood at home, then let's have a look at the instructions below :
- Any #6 wool yarn
- Needles #6
Cast on 26 stitches on a #6 needle.
Knit to moss stitch on about 120 cm long.
Bind off the stitches.
Finally sew in ends.
Row 1 : 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch, etc
Row 2 : on this project, the first row finishs with a purl stitch so you will begin row 2 with a purl stitch (always start a row the same way you finished the previous row). Then, row 2 will be 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch, 1 knit stitch, etc...
